Ready for Takeoff

Months of waiting and getting ready and July is finally here. The past couple of weeks have been full of last minute studying, reading, packing, and getting ready. Its hard to beleive that 6 months ago I wasn't even sure I would get into Duke, and today I'm sitting in the airport waiting for my flight to Durham to begin my MBA. SWA#949 is sitting at the gate. The skies are a little threatening. We might be delayed, but there's no turning back now. If I have to walk to Durham, I will. I've waited a long time for this and, for the first time in a long time, I'm really looking forward to something. I don't completely know what to expect or where this road is going to take me. What I do know is that I'm ready for this and I want it. This time is my time and it feels good.
